Burlington Public Library provides access to quality subscription
databases for our patrons at no charge. These databases contain
articles and information that are not available for free on the
Internet. The following databases can be accessed in the library
or remotely with your library card.

A
database of reliable sources for students of all ages doing research.
It includes full text magazine articles, books, newspaper articles,
pictures, maps and transcripts from TV and radio.
GreenFILE [In Library] [At Home]
GreenFILE
is a collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles
covering all aspects of human impact to the environment.
Infotrac Powersearch [In Library] [At Home]
A
massive database composed of many smaller databases that can be search
individually or simultaneously. Contains newspaper and magazine
articles as well as scholarly journals on a wide variety of topics
including business, computers, current events, economics, education,
environmental issues, health care, hobbies, humanities, law,
literature, art, politics, science, social science, sports, and
technology. Millions of full-text articles. Includes databases specifically for elementary, middle, and high school students.
Junior Edition- K12 [In Library] [At Home]
Designed
for students in junior high and middle school. Contains information
from magazines, newspapers and reference books about current events,
the arts, science, popular culture, health, people, government, sports,
and more.

Full
text access to many Massachusetts newspapers including the Boston Globe
(1980 to current), Boston Herald (1991 to current), Lowell Sun (2004 to
current) and the Worcester Telegram & Gazette (1989 to current).
