The FRIENDS of the Burlington Public Library are a nonprofit, volunteer organization consisting of concerned citizens who share the belief that a strong public library is a valuable intellectual, cultural, educational and recreational resource in the community. Committed to this belief, they actively support the Burlington Public Library. The affairs and activities of the FRIENDS are managed and directed by the group's officers, membership, and the staff of the Burlington Public Library. What do the Friends
do? Supply volunteer help for the Library. Encourage donations, gifts and bequests to the Library. Purchase unbudgeted equipment and materials for the Library. To become a member of the FRIENDS of the Burlington Library and lend support to YOUR public library, complete an application form and deliver it and the small membership fee to: Friends of the Burlington Public Library, 22 Sears Street, Burlington, MA 01803.
